Mary's Haven
Mary’s Haven, formerly known as Veronica’s Home of Mercy, is a 12–24 month transitional living program for unhoused women who are pregnant and/or have young children. Designed to serve mothers experiencing homelessness or housing instability, the program provides a safe, supportive, and stable home where families can heal, grow, and build a foundation for long-term self-sufficiency.
At Mary’s Haven, we help residents develop the personal, social, and emotional skills needed to lead healthy, productive lives. Parenting and nurturing children are at the heart of the program, with mothers receiving compassionate guidance and encouragement from dedicated staff and volunteers every step of the way.
Residents participate in individualized case management and receive access to physical and mental health services, counseling, group therapy, and Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings, as appropriate. The program also offers educational opportunities, vocational training, and life skills classes that equip mothers with the knowledge, confidence, and resources needed to achieve independent living and create brighter futures for themselves and their children.
To further support families, Mary’s Haven provides on-site childcare and preschool programming, as well as tutoring for school-aged children. There is no cost to participate in the program.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be pregnant and/or have children 12 years of age or younger.
